In the heart of French deep tech, academic and industrial, QUEST-IS 2025, 1st International Quantum Engineering conference and exhibition will gather many companies working in the quantic ecosystem from various countries.

 

It thus addresses technical matters such as quantum computing and algorithms, quantum sensors, quantum communications, crypto and the internet, including enabling technologies, and obviously Quantum Engineering targeting Applications for Citizens.

 

This multidisciplinary event lets attendees from various backgrounds discuss technical challenges of applied quantum technologies and business opportunities with each other.

 

Quantum engineering involves the integration of enabling technologies in systems like cryogenics, control electronics, semiconductors design and manufacturing, cabling, lasers and photonics, their energetic dimension, what raw materials are used and where they come from. In general, Quantum engineering is about applying scientific principles to design, develop, and maintain structures, machines, devices, systems, and processes. It is a creative, iterative process that involves problem-solving, designing, testing, and optimizing. It is inherently interdisciplinary, drawing on knowledge from various scientific fields like physics, mathematics, chemistry, materials science, and computer science to create innovative solutions. It considers practical constraints, such as cost, safety, efficiency, environmental impact, and competitiveness. Quantum engineering is one domain of engineering. Here, there are few uncertainties. It is more a matter of optimization than feasibility.
